Florida parents explore education options

Dissatisfied with her two gifted sons' classes, Donna O'Malley was among Florida parents exploring charter- and magnet-school options at her district's annual school-choice fair. "I have two boys in the gifted program, and they're not getting challenged in their regular school," she said. "I want a school that will allow them to accelerate in classes and work through the curriculum at a faster pace." Florida Today (Melbourne)
