Our new class portal #edchat #spedchat

According to Will Richardson, "one trend that shows no sign of stopping is the movement of curriculum to a digital, online environment". Many schools have now invested in websites that serve as a venue for collaboration for teachers, to communicate information to students and teachers, and to archive course materials.

Jefferson Academy, has just unveiled its new JA website! Our staff are still uploading new photos of student field trips and the information needed for each page on the site, it will be completed soon. From my experience with my class blog, having a place to publish homework assignments, course curriculum, class presentations, rubrics and graphic organizers makes a website a powerful tool for teachers. I just uploaded my reading intervention presentations on the special education homework page of the website. Ha! Now my students do not have any excuses anymore for not doing their homework!
