Sleep problems could explain hyperactivity of children with epilepsy

University of Florida researchers believe children with epilepsy can improve their cognition, learning and perhaps even their epilepsy by improving their sleep. Pediatric neurologist Paul Carney says treating disorders that affect the rapid eye movement phase of sleep may enable the children's brains to exert some control over their behavior. innovations-report (3/31)
