EPA: Test for lead poisoning to avoid subsequent disabilities

Exposure to low levels of lead might cause learning disabilities and behavioral problems, so the Environmental Protection Agency encourages testing paint for lead in homes built before 1978. Wash anything a child might put in his or her mouth, check window sills for paint chips, and always use cold water when cooking or preparing baby formula. The Washington Post/HealthDay News
