ADHD: Most ADHD drug studies lacking

From the CEC Smart Brief:

An Oregon State University-based review of 2,287 studies on the effectiveness of drugs used to treat ADHD in children and adolescents found scant quality evidence that the drugs are safe in the long term or effective in improving students' academic performance and behavior. The findings do not mean the drugs are unsafe and ineffective; rather, solid scientific proof of their safety and efficacy is lacking. The News Tribune (Tacoma, Wash.) (9/13)
