ADHD: Adults seek treatment for ADHD

From the CEC Smart Brief:

Experts seem to agree that a diagnosis of ADHD for an adult is appropriate when symptoms impair one's quality of life, although they disagree as to what the standard of "normalcy" should be. Research indicates that 73% of adults diagnosed with the disorder are white, while only 15% are Hispanic and 6% are black. New Jersey Online/Psychology Today (12/13)
