ADHD: Star system can teach self-discipline to those with ADHD

From the CEC Smart Brief:

Peters suggests a parent who is unsure whether her son is lazy or has ADHD ask his teacher to use a simple star-based card system over a two-week period to determine whether motivation problems or true ADHD lie at the heart of his problems. She says this behavioral system often works so well medication is not necessary. MSNBC (2/17)
