AUTISM: Mother's exposure to pollutants could raise risk of autism in children

San Francisco Bay area youngsters with autism disorders are 50% more likely than non-autistic peers to be born in neighborhoods with high amounts of toxic air contaminants, California Department of Health Services researchers report.
