ADHD expert: Genes not the only factor in ADHD

Michigan State University psychologist and author Joel Nigg contends ADHD is a legitimate disease, but questions whether incidence rates are truly increasing, since hard data is lacking. In his new book, "What Causes ADHD? Understanding What Goes Wrong and Why," Nigg argues that 20% of cases are probably preventable today. The Lansing State Journal (Mich.) (7/5)
