Book Signing Day

This book anthology of poems and stories came to life when the students of Ms. Angala's self-contained class explored the rich relationship between visual imagery and the written word. The program is designed to support the acquisition of literacy skills in children with diverse learning styles.

This book project conducted at Jefferson Junior High School in Room 104, was made possible with the ideas from Beth Olshansky's "Picturing Writing" and the generous support of The Washington Post Grants in Education .
