Special-ed professor named Person of the Year

A special-education professor was named the 2007 volunteer Person of the Year by a New Jersey Catholic charities agency for the disabled. Dr. Diane Cavanagh, an East Stroudsburg University professor, is a Council for Exceptional Children-chapter faculty adviser and director of a free tutoring program. The Pocono Record (Stroudsburg, Pa.)
