Teen with rare chromosomal disorder crowned prom king

Nathan Huf of Granger, with teacher Kathie Preece, has a rare disorder and must take classes in Taylor. But he's a game-day fixture at Granger High, where he has fans of his own.

Nathan Huf, who has trisomy 13 that has left him blind and with mental retardation, was overwhelmingly voted prom king by the senior class at Granger High School in Texas even though he does not attend the school. Huf, now 18, was not expected to live past 10, and is considered a good luck charm by the school's coaches. Austin American-Statesman
