New federal rule limits school Medicaid reimbursements

Schools no longer can count on Medicaid to reimburse health care-related expenses for students with special needs after the Bush administration on Friday issued a new federal rule. More than 1,200 people commented on the proposal, including many educators who opposed the funding cuts. Education Week/Associated Press
