Nonprofit grows lettuce to raise funds for those with special needs

Tired of fighting for limited state funding and public attention for charity events, a Florida nonprofit has turned to boutique farming to grow new funds for people with disabilities. Seagull Industries for the Disabled sells freshly picked lettuce to chefs at hotels, restaurants and country clubs. The Palm Beach Post
