One Laptop Pet Child Finds Buyers in Peru, Mexico

The Peruvian government has ordered 260,000 of the $188 laptops, and Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim purchased 50,000 to be distributed in his country, according to Nicholas Negroponte, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor who set up the OLPC foundation.
