R.I. eliminates special-education class-size caps

Rhode Island's board of regents voted to drop a cap on special-education class sizes and will instead encourage schools to group students by ability. The board also voted to limit extended school-year courses to students whose individual education plans recommend the additional days. The Providence Journal (R.I.)
