Social divide seen in British students' test scores

Children from the most deprived areas of England are falling further behind in school compared to more affluent pupils, say the Conservatives.

Poor British students scored 43 percentage points below wealthy pupils in key English, math and other standardized exams in 2007, lawmakers say.
