New Medicaid rules may cost Wisconsin districts $11.8 million

Wisconsin school districts may have to dip into local funds to pay for special-education transportation and administrative services previously covered by Medicaid. U.S. Department of Health and Human Services officials have said such services were unnecessary and not explicitly referenced in the Medicaid statute. Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
