Clay Freeman, 34, who has quadriplegia, needs round-the-clock care to ensure the 11 machines keeping him alive keep working. But Freeman says he can no longer keep trained caregivers because his home state, Oregon, doesn't pay them enough, and he has sued the state under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
