Student who is gifted receives high honors in New Zealand

Emily Adlam wants to get a PhD and work in scientific research.

Emily Adlam, a student who is gifted, is being honored with six outstanding scholar awards in New Zealand. Adlam plans to pursue a Ph.D. and attributes her success in juggling her many activities to thinking of each activity as break from the others, which makes her pursuits feel more recreational, she said.
