N.J. Legislature approves school-funding bill

New Jersey lawmakers on Monday narrowly adopted Gov. Jon Corzine's controversial $7.8 billion school-funding after coaxing out the final, deciding Senate vote only after three hours of lobbying on the final day of the legislative session. Republican Sen. Martha Bark changed her vote after winning $20 million in extra aid for students with autism and other special needs. NJ.com
