In recognition of your achievement in becoming a nominee of the
Disney Hand Teacher Award
This day of June 14, 2005
**************************
I want to let all my fellow Filipinos know that I will make my country proud of every little and great things I do here. I will always be a , nothing can change that. With the modern day globalization, I guess it would be easier for us great Filipinos to prove to the world that we are indeed a great race.
I am taking back what I said in my "Dear Teacher Sol" entry, that my home country who brought me up globally competitive cannot even compete globally. WRONG! I represent my country as a Filipina, and with me (and with us great Filipinos) we can prove to the world that our home country can also be globally competitive. We have to be optimistic. With all the negativity surrounding the country I know it's hard to think positive. But I believe we can!
CHEERS TO US, !

Congratulations to you Teacher Sol for your excellent achievement as a distinguished educator. You put PI in the world map again and surely the Filipino citizenry will be proud of you on knowing this. Just go on with your effort to impart to every person your acquired knowledge and God given talent. I remember the saying “If there’s a will, there’s a way”. I know God is always there with you in all your good deeds.

EVERYONE, thanks for the kudos. My heart is overwhelmed.

Pray for me, I will be in the hot seat as one of the panelist in the DC Public Schools Conference this morning, with 200+ DCPS teachers attending. Dito kasi pag panelist ka ikaw ang tatanungin nila tungkol sa topic which is "Information & Literacy in a Modern Thinking Classroom" (Eruannie & Von- linya nyo yan? *wink*). Di pa ako nag-aaral eto blogging na naman, hay naku, addict talaga.

VONJOBI, nominee for a grant, nagsisimula palang ako dito, hehehe, I need to gain some more momentum. Di madali manalo dyan, nationwide search yan at 150,000 ang nominees (you have to be nominated by a parent or a collegue for doing a good job in school). At sa karamihan na yon 30 lang ang mananalo. To be nominated is already an honor, pinararangalan na yan dito, with a medal pa. My first time kaya tumataba ang puso ko.

Congratulations, Teacher Sol! You're right - simply being nominated for the award is already something to be very proud of. It means that you've already been able to do so much and made a great impression on your students, their parents, as well as your colleagues, in such a short span of time. Very impressive, indeed! Keep it up, dear! We're rooting for you too! :-)

Minsan kahi't maraming di kanais-nais sa buhay Merika, di natin maikakaila na they are experts in recognizing and appreciating achievements and excellence. Hindi lang 'yon may kakabit pang medalya at papel na may sulat (proof at memento). Parang mas gusto mo pang maging the best you can ever be dahil nga napapansin nila at sagana sila sa kudos. Dito kasi sa atin, ang kuripot magbigay ng mga ganyan (ang dami kasing politicking at nananaig ang crab mentality) Yung mga katrabaho at boss mo,madalas tinitiyane ang pats on the back for a job well done. Isa pang dahilan kaya masarap magtrabaho diyan.
Saludo ako sa 'yo, my friend!

Good job sol..

congratulations!!!!!!!! =) galing-galing! keep up!

Hello Teacher Sol, Congratulations! You deserve this nomination because I know you worked hard for it. Hindi pa kita kilala personally, pero based on the presentation of your blog, you are evidently matalino, hard working, honest and you love your work. And I'm sure you are happy with it too. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I know that this nomination mean so much to you because through this you gain confidence that you are in the right path and God is always on your side, watching and guiding you. Working with special children is a noble thing because you give new hope to these kids. More power to you. May you be a grant recipient and may you have more nominations to come.

Dear Teacher Sol,
How could I have missed this! You make us all Pinays and Pinoys, teachers and nonteachers, very proud of you and your achievement.
May God continue to shower you with more blessings so you can touch more lives, shape better future for many children and bring more honor to our beloved Philippines!
