Athlete with Down syndrome scores stirring touchdown

Coaches for two Texas high schools agreed to surprise senior Lyndon LaPlante, who has Down syndrome, by letting him score an unofficial touchdown during last Friday's football game. As the crowd roared, teammates followed LaPlante during his electrifying 99-yard run to the goal. wnbci.com (10/19)
