Just recently I got this invitation in my mailbox faxed to our school. I thought "hardwork really pays off"...

Maria,

This is a wonderful honor, well deserved. I actually have another meeting, same day, same time so I may not be able to make it, but you have my congratulations on a job well done under trying circumstances.

Hi again,

I will be in attendance since I am presenting an award(I was last year's Agnes Meyer winner) I also received the Wash. Post Education and Culture Fellowship to Spain. I am in the second stage of the running for the Toyota Outstanding Teacher Award to the Galapagos Islands and am waiting to hear if I have been chosen as a Dept. of Educ American Star of Teaching (one of my co workers nominated me) I was chosen by DCPS to take a group of 8 kids to Costa Rica in July. My slate is full. I will be so glad when this year is over. I'll see you on the 6th.

Are you going to try for your National Board Certification this year. If so it is time to let Brigette H. at the Logan Building know.

I'll again nominate you for the Disney Award because I think that you are fantastic. I really wish that I knew how to start a blog like you did. I would love for the kids going to Costa Rica to start one as a sort of e journal of the trip. Can you help me with this idea?
