Classroom Tool for Global Collaboration

The Professional Development Institute held last Thursday and Friday at Mc Kinley for World Languages Teachers about "WEBLOGS: Classroom Tool for Global Collaboration" (page 15 of this schedule sheet) has been very successful and productive! We had so much fun! I felt I as if I was part of the Worl Languages Spanish-speaking teachers *smile.

They were able to create their own class websites and wish you were there to see their excitement as they were presenting their own class websites to the class, here are some of their blogs:

http://mcglaspell.blogspot.com
http://drglaspell-glaspell.blogspot.com
http://acarzon.blogspot.com
http://ulevigoerlich.blogspot.com

We did have the best time. All the teachers were extremely excited about the weblogs and about what I had to teach them (Jean S. of Coolidge HS was my co-presentor) and all have ideas about how to take the ideas a step forward (most had never heard of a BLOG before). They all have asked for more and we hope that in the future we will be able to offer it.
