PAUL WARREN, M.D., is a behavioral pediatrician and adolescent medicine specialist who maintains an active practice working with students, parents and educators in Dallas, Texas. He received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University and his M.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He completed internship, residency and fellowship training at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. An expert in child and adolescent behavioral issues, Dr. Warren serves as a consultant to several public school districts as well as numerous private schools, and is a member of the Physicians Resource Council of Focus on the Family. He is a popular speaker for conventions and seminars worldwide, is a guest lecturer on child development at numerous colleges and universities, and is a frequent guest on national radio and television programs. Dr. Warren is the author of Things That Go Bump in the Night, and a series entitled My Infant, My Toddler, My Preschooler. He has co-authored You and Your ADD Child, Counseling and Children, Kids Who Carry Our Pain, The Father Book, Parenting with Intimacy, and Intimate Family Moments. He lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife, Vicky, and their son, Matthew.

JODY CAPEHART, a gifted education specialist with more than thirty years experience in public and private schools, assists Dr. Warren with classroom application for this study. Jody has founded four private schools, is widely recognized as a speaker and consultant and currently serves as principal of a private school in Plano, Texas. She is the author of several books including A Gift of Time, Becoming a Treasured Teacher, Cherishing and Challenging Your Children, Discipline to the Design of the Child, Zillions of Hands-On Teaching Techniques, Once Upon a Time and Families Under Fire. She also coauthored You & Your ADD Child with Dr. Warren. Jody holds the bachelors and master of education degrees and is nearing completion of her doctorate. Jody, and her husband, Paul, have three children and live in Dallas, Texas.
