New investigations plague Gallaudet University

An accreditation team visiting Gallaudet University this week noted that progress has been made but serious concerns remain, according to new Gallaudet President Robert Davila. The troubled school for the deaf has until November 2008 to achieve compliance by improving chronically low graduation rates and improving ways of measuring student progress even as new complaints bring on NCAA and U.S. Department of Education investigations.
