Bill proposes school transportation cuts for children with special needs

The Bush administration has proposed Medicaid cuts that would impact funds used to transport students with special needs. The bill, according to one district's transportation chief, not only would affect children with physical disabilities, but also those needing physical and speech therapy and other services. The Sacramento Bee (Calif.)
