Musicians with disabilities to play at Carnegie Hall

People with special needs from more than eight countries will perform at U.N. headquarters and Carnegie Hall as part of the Dec. 3 International Day of Disabled Persons. "I don't want audiences to be impressed by the fact that I can perform despite lacking fingers," said Tokyo pianist Kai Kobayashi, 16. "I hope that my performance will fascinate people purely with the way it sounds." The Daily Yomiuri (Japan)
