Allow parents to choose embryo with hearing impairments

The head of a British advocacy group is calling for a bill to be amended so that parents with hearing impairments could select an embryo with such impairments rather than one without disabilities. The House of Lords bill would otherwise make it illegal for any parents screening embryos to chose one with abnormalities over a healthy one. The Times (London)
