Maryland encourages sports teams to allow athletes with disabilities

Maryland's board of education will encourage schools to allow students with disabilities to try out for sports teams. The recommendation follows a case in which an athlete in a wheelchair successfully sued for a spot on his high school track team. The Sun (Baltimore)
