Medicaid rules discourage people with disabilities from marrying

Under federal regulations, people with disabilities like Joe Entwisle would lose their Medicaid benefits if they marry a spouse with more than $2,000 in assets. Wisconsin state lawmakers are considering seeking federal approval to change that for people with severe disabilities.
