FBI investigates Web site hack that triggered seizures, migraines

Hackers recently bombarded the Epilepsy Foundation site with rapidly flashing images that triggered severe migraines and near-seizure reactions in some with photosensitive epilepsy who visited the site. "They were out to create seizures," said Ken Lowenberg, senior director of the foundation's Web and print publishing. The New York Times/Associated Press

As an epileptic I found this event particularly disturbing. However, I'm suprised that any website with a core viewership of epileptics would have such loosely guarded internet forums.
