Immigrant student transforms future for dozens of classmates

Washington state 17-year-old Osbaldo Hernandez was tired of seeing Hispanic classmates skip class and eventually drop out, so he organized a meeting with parents, who told their children about their own sacrifices. "After that meeting, everything changed," said Alexis Aguilar, 17, who had been on the verge of dropping out but now plans to attend college. "I thought nobody cared if I graduated or not."
