Sousa MS Special Ed Students Win 2008 Stock Market Challenge

Eight students from Sousa middle School proved victorious in this year's central region Stock Market Challenge, sponsored in part by the Maryland Council on Economic Education. Competing against 288 teams from Maryland and Washington DC, the Sousa Cobra Stock Team finished first place in the middle school division and thirteenth overall.

"We applaud Sousa MS for their efforts, and as we continue to reform and revamp our special education programs in DCPS, it's encouraging to see students excel", said Chancellor Michelle Rhee. DCPS News
