Girl's inoperable brain tumor touches people around the world

Ella, 5, has a tumor in her brainstem.

A Web plea for Ella Newmiller, 5, who was diagnosed six weeks ago with an inoperable brain tumor, has traveled the world, resulting in an outpouring of prayers and well-wishes for Ella and her family. Family friend Bonnie Rochman, a News & Observer reporter, also blogged about their experience. "Lots of people have said it's touched their lives, that maybe it's made them spend more time with their child," said Ella's mother, Renae. "We're just amazed by it."
