Technology Trainings

Today I attended the Technology Expo in Arlington VA. I was trained on using the interactive whiteboard (SMARTboard), and I really wish I will have one this coming school year. Using technology in the classroom is really my passion, I can engage my students in a lot of fun, creative interactive activites, very convenient and innovative for me!

I also enjoyed the training yesterday on technology by the US Department of Education Teacher Workshops. I most especially was struck by the video which showed that the world we live in is changing in dramatic ways.



What should schools look like in 2020?
What should students do in these schools?
What should teachers do in these schools?
How should home and community contribute to these schools?
