Using the National Gifted Education Standards for University

This guidebook helps university personnel design or revise teacher preparation courses in gifted education to align with the new NCATE-approved standards required for program accreditation. Professors and program coordinators will find sample syllabi, information on teacher assessment, and a CD-ROM with an extensive annotated bibliography of related research and literature.
Born from the collaboration of NAGC, CEC and TAG, this new resource reflects best practices in gifted education and explains how to plan and implement in-service training programs or realign existing programs for gifted-education teachers. Find out more.
