Connecticut teacher of the year connects with students

A teacher at a school for students with special needs in Greenwich, Conn., has been named the state's top educator. Anthony Mullen is a former New York City police officer and has worked for seven years at the alternative high school, where one of his students described him as caring and intelligent. Greenwich Time (Conn.)
