Florida school lacks funds to pay subs

A Florida high school principal says he's forced to send children to an old gymnasium when their teachers are absent on the grounds that there is not enough money to pay substitutes. Principal Mitch Moyer's district cut spending on substitutes as a way to help make up millions in state funding cuts to schools. Orlando Sentinel (Fla.)

Hmmm...this sounds really very familiar, I have heard this before.
