Special educator gives children hope

Andee Aceves, her family's first high school graduate, credits her grandparents, who raised her, for encouraging her to work hard and get an education.


Special educator Andee Aceves was the first in her family to graduate from high school, and for 16 years she has worked with students with special needs. "They can see her as a sign of hope for themselves," said her principal, Donn Griffitts. San Diego Union-Tribune
