Fewer people with severe disabilities work for federal agencies

Fewer than 1% of federal workers in fiscal 2006 had severe visual, auditory and cognitive impairments, which is less than any other time within the last 20 years, according to a new Equal Employment Opportunity Commission report. Nearly 15% fewer people with severe disabilities work for the U.S. government in 2006 than did in 1997. The Washington Post
