Movie Profiles Musician With Impaired Hearing

Review: New movie profiles musician with impaired hearing

The new documentary "Touch the Sound" focuses on 40-year-old Scottish percussionist Evelyn Glennie, who has devoted her life to making sound even though she suffered a significant loss of her hearing when she was a child. Washington Post classical music critic Tim Post says the film would have been better if it had featured more clips of her playing, rather than so many "vacuous interviews" with her.
